Planning your Field Trip

Wannado City ® is the ideal location for real-life learning for your class. We have programs custom designed for grades K-2 and 3-5 which adhere to the Sunshine State Standards and help prepare students for FCAT Testing. Easy for you, great for your kids.

There must be a minimum of 20 paid children to be considered a group.

$25.00 Deposit (nonrefundable) is DUE in order to secure your Field Trip date

Rates Valid only Monday-Friday

$14 per child (One free adult ticket for every 5 kids)
$4.00 additional Lunch Ticket
$5.00 additional Adult Ticket (if over ratio of 1:5)

* Weekend & Black out Dates

$16 per child (One free adult ticket for every 5 kids)
$4.00 additional Lunch Ticket
$5.00 additional Adult Ticket (if over ratio of 1:5)

** All Weekend Trips must be paid in full no later then the Friday at 4:00pm before their trip, if you have less people than expected on the day of your trip, you will not receive a refund, If you have additional people on the day of your trip, the additional guests must pay regular admission, and will not be part of the group. There are NO EXCEPTIONS

Lunch

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the park. Field Trips may not re-enter once they exit. The Lunch provided includes: one slice of pizza, juice & cookie. Lunch is scheduled between 10:30am – 1:30pm depending on the age of the children along with the field trip entry and exit times. Times & designated lunch locations are subject to change and CANNOT be requested. Kosher lunch is available upon request and additional price.

Wannado City ® accepts several forms of payment including credit cards, checks and money orders

Please have the following information ready prior to your call:

• The date for your field trip Please have an alternate date, in case your date is not available
• Name of School & contact
• School & billing address
• School Telephone & Field Trip Contact’s Telephone
• School Fax number
• Field Trip Contact’s Email At times it is easier to communicate pertinent information via email
• Expected number of students & chaperones
• Grade level of students
• Arrival Time & Departure Time of Field Trip
• Lunch or no lunch ticket price

Lesson Plans

Wannado City ® is an ideal field trip destination for elementary aged kids. Experiences within the park help students satisfy Sunshine State Standards in an interactive and educational way.

The Wannado City ® Lesson Plans extend the experience into the classroom with activities that can be conducted both before and after the visit to Wannado City ®.

To receive these Lesson Plans, at no cost to your school, please email your lesson plan request to sales@wannadocity.com . You will receive the Lesson Plans via email within 3 business days.

Field Trip Experiences at Wannado City

Teachers can schedule several types of field trips that can be incorporated into their classroom curriculum.

• Traditional Field Trip – Teacher reviews different career paths with students. Upon arrival at Wannado City ® students select careers and activities that are of interest to them.

• Subject Based Field Trip – Teacher selects a subject and reviews careers within that subject. Subjects are science, math, language arts and social studies.

• Career Day Field Trip – - Teachers can  now schedule Field Trips that will include guest speakers and Hands on Learning Activities about the different careers.
