 Wannado Entertainment ("Wannado") has prepared this Privacy Statement to disclose our privacy practices on the Wannado City website (the "Site"). The Privacy Statement covers the following points:
Information Collection and User Registration It is possible to visit our home page and some other areas of the Site without having any personally identifying information collected. In order to register on the Site to receive newsletters, updates, information about Wannado City™, and information about products and services that may be of interest, we ask users to provide name, age, and email address (phone number and postal address are optional). For users age 12 and under, we ask for a parent's email address as well, and in some instances we require verifiable parental consent before allowing certain activities or making certain uses of information collected. Information Use We use the information we collect to contact users (and/or, in some instances in the case of children aged 12 or under, their parents) with information about the Site; information about the progress, opening, and features of Wannado City; and information from us about products and services that we think may be of interest. Except as described in this Privacy Statement, we do not presently sell or share users' personal information to or with any third party other than service providers that help us operate the Site and who are bound by obligations of confidentiality. In the event that we change our policy about sharing information, we will make reasonable efforts to contact our users (and, if applicable, their parents) utilizing the contact information provided to us and will offer users the opportunity to opt out of such disclosure. We may disclose personal information without notice to you when required by law, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with a request in the context of a court proceeding, or a court order or legal process served on us, or to take measures to make our Site safe and appropriate for our users. Also, in the event that Wannado goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will likely be part of the assets transferred. If you would like your name to be removed from our mailing list, or to change or remove your child's information from our mailing list, please email us (from the account to be removed) at Info@WannadoCity.com, with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line. Cookies A cookie is a small file stored on the hard drive of the user's computer tied to information about the user. In order to facilitate navigation of the Site, we use temporary "session ID" cookies that are placed on a user's hard drive upon visiting or logging onto the Site, but then automatically expire after a short time. If a user rejects the cookie, the Site will still be accessible, although navigation may not be quite as convenient. We do not use "persistent" cookies that survive long after a user leaves the Site or logs out. Log Files Like most standard website servers, we use log files. These include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are generally not linked to personally identifying information. Communications From Us As required by law, we send an email notification to parents of children 12 and under who register on the Site. This email provides parents with an opportunity to opt out of having their children receive particular kinds of communications or information that the children have requested from the Site or to remove entirely their children's information from our mailing database. We also communicate with users to respond to specific questions and requests. We generally reply via email, unless the user requests a different means of communication. Links This Site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Wannado cannot take responsibility for the privacy practices of such other sites, including those of our sponsors and marketing partners. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifying information. This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by us on this Site. Security All personal information collected from users is protected on the website server that hosts the Site. Only authorized Wannado personnel will have access to this information, and they will only use the information confidentially and as specifically needed to maintain this Site.
